During Autumn, when one can feel the humidity of the air changing and can smell the essence of 'tsipouro' distillation 'taking over' the town. The musicians of the brass bands of Goumenissa attend all the events and parties that are given at the distilleries. All events and festivities take place during the period between October and November. The celebrations last for as long as the participants can keep on dancing and tasting the fresh 'tsipouro'....usually until early in the morning!
