Metaliou artificial lake, is only  5 km away from the town of Axioupoli. It  is a beautiful location with a 2 km long and 35 m deep artificial lake, also known as "Metalliou Lake" which is ideal for trout fishing, relaxing and activities (i.e kayak) in nature. The area is characterized by its beautiful forests and natural beauty, while it is easily accessible through well maintained forest roads.
